My gg grandfather George A Fisher born in ILL was about 1/2 cherokee and he married a cherokee by the name of Adaline Whiteside. She was also born in ILL. They were married in Jefferson Co, Mo then moved back to Ill and had 2 sons William {my grandfather and his brother George W.}The 2 brothers went to live in southeast Mo as young kids.
