Ellsworth Fisher, 69, of 14 Valley St., Jamestown,NY, died Saturday, November 13, 2010, in her home with her family around her. She was born June 3, 1941, in Erie, Pa., the daughter of the late Roy and Beatrice Stokes Ellsworth. For many years, she worked as a private care aide, independently, and for Accredited Care. Earlier she worked at the former Firch Baking Co. Edna was a life member of the YMCA. She enjoyed swimming, camping, playing BINGO, and collecting hummingbirds. She loved her family and friends and would do anything for them. Surviving is her husband of 35 years, Charles "Howard" Fisher Sr.; three daughters, Debbie (late Mike) Coyle, Pam (late George) Lee, and Karen Kuhn; five sons, Charles H. Fisher Jr., Rick E., Gary Fisher, Richard M., and Jerry Welder; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; three sisters, Carol (Richard) Fisher, Laura (Harold) Burch, and Joyce (Ken) Wunder; two brothers, Paul Ellsworth and Ed Ellsworth; three brothers-in-law, Fred Burch, Irving Fisher, and Cal Wheaten; and a sister- in-law, June Wheaten. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Ruth, Linda, Rita, and Shirley; three brothers, Jack, Wayne, and Ralph; and her sons-in-law, Mike Coyle and George Lee. The funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Lind Funeral Home, Jamestown, N.Y. Family and friends may call for one hour prior to the service Tuesday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Chautauqua County, 20 W. Fairmount Ave., Lakewood, NY 14750; or to a charity of choice.
