Loving son, brother, nephew, uncle, friend, and mentor. A retired teacher of Theatre Arts in Cleveland, Ohio Public Schools, Leon served in various roles during his career ranging from instruction to peer review and teacher recruitment at John F. Kennedy High School, South High and the Cleveland School of the Arts. Leon was preceded in death by his beloved parents Leroy and Ceola Fisher. He is survived by a sister, Beatrice (Lou) Marchmon; niece Nikki; great-niece Brianna; nephew Michael; aunts, Marjorie, Antoinette (James), Laverne (Robert); brothers Leo and Alexander; and many other family members, friends, and former students. A gathering in Leon's memory will be held at Karamu House, 2355 East 89 Street, Cleveland, Ohio Saturday April 3, 2010 at 2-4 p.m. in the Concert Hall.
