I have been trying to trace my Fishers back from Mississippi in 1826 to North Carolina before then. I had a hint that they were in the Surry/Stokes Counties, but am now looking at Joseph and George Fisher in Lincoln Co. Anyone out there researching in Lincoln County??? Sue
