Where can I find out more about the Fisher DNA project and the person in charge. That's a good way to look for ancestors. Our family has done this for another side of the family and we found four close cousins this way and more knowledge about where our ancestors came from. So far we have one perfect match, but have been unable to connect the two lines, other than the fact that both families were in Mississippi in the early 1800s. Just now I cannot put my hands on the results to give you further information, but as soon as I do, I will get back in touch with you. John Fisher, the man who runs the Fisher DNA program, says that our two lines are different from all the rest. If you can pull up the Fisher DNA project, you can see the two matching lines. I am very curious about the George W. Fisher in Mississippi who was a Hungarian immigrant. Our family crosses him again in Van Zandt Co., TX. The CD was mailed out on Saturday.
