There are two surname projects that may be of interest to this group FISHER and FISCHER. FISHER DNA Project description on FTDNA "We aim to determine the genetic and genealogical origins of Fisher families whose ancestors came from Britain. Whether or not you have traced your family tree, join us and discover something about your origins, which documents can never reveal" Here is the description of the Fischer DNA Project from FTDNA. "The Fischer DNA Project is for all who wish to work together to find their common heritage through DNA testing and sharing of information. If your name was angicized from Fischer to Fisher, you are welcome to join this Fischer project. If you believe your ancestry is English, please join the Fisher project. (Fisher is a separate project.) Please visit our website and add your family to the Patriarch Page." I am the Fischer DNA Administrator and we try to have our Earliest Known Ancestors Posted with our results. Sometimes we are not given that information so we post the initials of the contact person. On our Patriarch Page, we post the pedigree along with the contact person's name and contact information. We also have some Pedigrees of folks who have not yet tested for various reasons such as waiting for test results or looking for a connection.
