William H Meredith Samuel Alexander Fisher 1887-1920 Speculating that Joshua may be son of a Barnwell Fisher who was living in Rose Twp., Jefferson CO., PA in the 1850 census. Barnwell was married to Louisa and their children were: Hannah C Fisher Jacob H Fisher Joseph C Fisher Charles S Fisher We were told Joshua F Fisher was adopted by a German family and possibly born in Schuylkill Co. 1860 and 1870 census shows a Joshua Fisher living with John H Crate and he is a laborer. Don't know if the Crates are his adopted family or what the situation might have been. Does anyone know anything more about these Fishers or the other family connections?
