Marreid William Shippin 2 June 1770. Wm. Shippin died 3 January 1777 at battle of Princeton, NJ. She was a widow with 2 surviving children (4 born of this marriage) at this time William m. Anne Ashmead and sister Ann Shippen (spelling changed after death of father) m. 21 Aug 1792 Lt. John Philip de Haas. Jeremiah Fisher is shown guardian of children in 1787.
