All I know of with respect to the religion is that my grandfather converted from protestant to catholic to marry my grandmother. Not sure what religion Cloyde Otto practiced. It may have been the same. I know that my grandfather remembered Uncle Ott because he had told us a few stories of him when I was younger. Not that I actually remember them. Hopefully that helps. Beyer (the s was added with George Washington Beyers)comes from Nieder Harpersdorf, Silesia, Germany . They came here in the 1730's. (Melechoir, Abraham, Andrew, Daniel, Daniel, Benjamin then George the father of Cloyde Otto) Unfortunately all I have is Natele Fischer. Notice the difference in spelling though. That might help you out. Natele and Otto I believe are burried with the rest of the family at Arlington Cemetary in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania. I know that his brother Gray Meloy is burried there along with William Uriah (my gggrandfather) Gray Meloy spelled his last name Beyer. Arlington is a non denominational cemetary.
