Fisher's first wife Telitha A. Blassingame, wrongly skipping over Mary Adaline Hamm. . I have also looked further back into William Fisher Nancy because their grandparents would be about the right age to have served in the Revolutionary War. The DAR Patriot Index books show 142 recognized "Fisher" patriots and SAR's Index (on CD) lists even more. Also, SAR shows several "Hamm" patriots where DAR does not have any listed. . As the local chapter SAR Registrar, it would be exciting to find a direct namesake Patriot for several of my cousins and their kids.
