Hi Doris! I don't think I knew you had a Fisher line as well!! My gg-grandmother was a Fisher from Spartanburg/Greenville SC and present day Transylvania Co, NC. Our Fisher line came out of around Caroline Co, MD and before that county was formed, probably one of the three-Talbot, Dorchester or Queen Anne's Co, MD. Stuck in Maryland on my gggg-grandfather, James Washington Fisher, SR (not really sure his middle name is Washington, but that is what is on his tombstone and the DAR records.) My ggg-grandfather, James Fisher, JR married Darcus Bowling in Spartanburg Co, SC. Darcus had a brother named Dudley A. Bowling (b. abt 1800) whom we have discussed before.
