This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Fisher, Brower, Pitcock Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/YVW.2ACEB/3870 Message Board Post: I hope someone can help me with the family of a Philip Fisher who immigrated from Germany 1700s to first Pennsylvania and then to Franklin County, Virginia. He was the father of nine children - Solomon, Mary, Jacob, Daniel, Peter, Catharine, Abraham, Jonathan, and John B. Peter. John B. Peter Fisher married Elizabeth Brower and they moved to Ohio and then Indiana. I am interested in John's sister, the Mary Fisher above. Would this be the Mary Fisher who married John Pitcock in Berkeley County, Va. on Feb. 15, 1791? The above children of Philip Fisher was found in the biography of Joseph Fisher in the 1887 edition of Brant & Fuller's "History of Miami County, Indiana" (pages 688-689). Thanks for any help.
