McCoy, well-known Gringo funeral director who was killed instantly in an accident Monday afternoon on his farm, are to be held at two o`clock Thursday afternoon in the family home. McCoy was killed when he fell from a truck on his farm and the wheels passed over him. Death was due to a fractured skull, according to Deputy Coroner Mrs.H.C.McCarter. An Aliquippa physician was summoned immediately but pronounced McCoy dead on arrival at the scene of the accident. Mr. McCoy had been a funeral director in the Gringo district for more than twenty-five years. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Marie McCoy; three sons, Norman McCoy, U.S.Army in Tennessee, Kenneth and James E. McCoy at home; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Miller, Porterville; two brothers, Will McCoy of Aliquippa, and Mont McCoy, near Aliquippa, and four sisters, Mrs. Edna Fisher, Ellwood City, Mrs. May Miller, Clinton, Mrs. Fay Scott, New Brighton, and Mary McCoy, at home. I found this partial obit in the papers of my late GAunt Mildred (Conn) Ramsey. I do not have more info, dates or know the newspaper, but I hope this much helps.
