My gfather Frank Fisher married Mary Levina Chesnut on Oct 19, 1916. His father was Thomas Fisher, born about 1863. All this happened in Daviess County Indiana. Mary L. Chesnut Fisher's father was Jackson Chesnut; his father was John N. Chesnut; his father was Julius C. Chesnut and so on back to William who came from Uk. I am having trouble tracing the Fisher line but it is possible that your Fisher might be the brother of Thomas Fisher. I am near a great genealogical library in Houston, TX and plan to do some further research on the Fisher line. Does any of this make sense or does it help you at all? Judy Fisher Williams
