Okay, here it is: Bruce, I am sorry to be so long in answering. I teach 6th and 7th grade gifted-talented students a humanities course, and we are completely entrenched in a research project this week. On top of that my daughter's schedule is PACKED, and I am her chauffeur! At any rate, I cannot tell you how excited I am at the possibility of finding a new connection! I am fairly new to genealogy; however, some of my ancestors have done quite a bit of work for me, so the job is not as daunting as it could be. I have a great deal of information on Orcenith Fisher and his first immediate family (he married twice). He was an original settler and preacher in the Republic of Texas, so his trail is rather easy to follow. I am connected to his first marriage, although his second wife was very fascinating. He wrote several books, stood as editor of Texas' earliest periodical and established interracial Methodist-Episcopal churches throughout early Texas, and in California and Oregon.
