Sears b.abt 1830 in Missouri? married 1856 in Missouri to Hettisha "Hettie" Erwin b. abt 1832. In 1898 these folks adopted my six year old great grandmother, Martha Belle (Fisher, Fischer, Fisher-Sears) b. 1892. I have heard that my ggmother's maiden name is "Fisher?" I am figuring that if I learn more about the Sears, who were in their 60's ???? when they adopted her, I may find more about my ggmother. Can anyone tell me anything?
