I only know that according to a profile done on his son, Samuel from OH, it read that "his parents were born in Chambersburg, PA, his mother died in OH 1833 and his father died in IA 1872" but cannot find him in IN,OH or IA, so if I can find him in Chambersburg than at least I have a birth date and a year.....right now I don't even have that....... I found your Samuel and Mary Cope marriage.....Nov 11, 1832 in Bindnagle Church of Lebanon Co. by Rev. Van-Hoff I requested a Book Lookup and that came back!!! Does that help you?
