Henry's parents were Nehemiah Mains and Phebe Bunnell. They were the first Mains/Maines in Clearfield County, Pa. Nehemiah's parents were Ezekiel Main and Deborah Meacham. After Deborah's death Ezekiel married Mary Crandall Newcomb, a widow. Ezekiel's parents were Thomas Maine and Anna Brown. After Anna's death Thomas married Elizabeth Cleveland Hewitt. Thomas' parents were Jeremiah Maine and Ruth Huse Brown, a widow. Jeremiah's parents were Ezekiel Main and Mary Hatch. Ezekiel Main's parents were John Mayne and Elizabeth Laurie.
