Would any of the researchers of Fishers in the Dekalb Co. TN area or Smith Co. area know why three children who were known by their mothers maiden name of Pitman in 1870 are shown in the 1880 census as Fishers as she has married. It is not known to me who the childrens father was but family says that she only married once. These were Children of Elizabeth "Bettie" Pitman.
