She and my great-grandfather both died in Poteau OK in or around 1919 from influenza. They left several children, including my grand father John Henry Fisher ( D-1986 Newport). Three daughters, Ruth Fisher( Cooper ) Little Rock D-1994 , Hattie Fisher ( Greene ) Seattle D-1996, and Hazel Fisher (Boggs) Newport D-2003 and three sons, Tom Fisher Moro, Arkansas D-2000, Clem Fisher Augusta, Arkansas D-1974, and then my Grandfather John Henry. >From my grand uncles and grandfathers remembrances their plight was tragic. Tom was the oldest only 19 and Ruth the youngest 5. My grand aunts were left to another aunt in Oklahoma by the name of Drummonds. ( note: not much is known about the Drummonds in Oklahoma) My grandfather and his brothers were moved to Moro, Arkansas to be workers for my great grandmothers brother Uncle John Syler. >From there my grandfather left @ the age of 18 and my great uncle Tom married and settled in Moro to take over the farm from Uncle Tom Syler. He married Ann and they had a son Richard who married Sarah Pim. Their son Joseph was baptised in May 1804, and married Emily Lawrence. They moved to Wedmore where they ran the slaughterhouse. They had 9 children including Lot (born 1845) who married Emily Kitley. Lot and Emily had approximately 10 children, including my g-g-grandfather Joseph, who married Anne Leighton.
