Middle name? Place or county of birth/death? I do not believe you are related to me (I have 3 George Nicholas Fisher's in my line) although 2 of my George Fisher's were born in Missouri. Of those two, they have not had a 2nd wife and I know of no Roy W. Fisher in my line...but it doesn't mean my 3rd George Fisher didn't have a 2nd wife, but since he was born in Germany this couldn't be your great-grandfather. It is my 3rd George Fisher (great-great-grandfather) that I am at a brick wall with. Sorry I can't be of more help. Have you tried the LDS website? If not, go to www.familysearch.org and click on Search For Ancestors. Good luck in your search!

I'm wondering if maybe James Patterson was the brother of one of my Patterson's. My Patterson's start with my great-great grandmother, Angelina.

Surnames: Fisher, Patterson, Greenstreet Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/YVW.2ACEB/3754 Message Board Post: Looking for additional information on Elizabeth Fisher who married James Patterson in Greene Co., Il. 8-22-1844. He apparently died between 1850 and 1860 and she remarried to a James L. Jetton and lived in Scott Co., Il. where he died leaving her a widow with 2 patterson sons and 2 Jetton Children. The 1860 census lists her as a weaver and the 1870 census of Scott Co., Il. lists her as a widow and housekeeper. I had her listed as the daughter of John Fisher and Mary Polly Thompson as many others do, however a Thompson researcher adamently states this couple had only 1 child during the span of 1820 and 1825 when their daughter Temperance Fisher was born. Census records of different years show 1 and 2 daughters for this couple during that span so it is hard to tell if Elizabeth belongs there or not.If anyone has definite info on her I would really like to correct my records. I have over 3500 persons on my tree and Elizabeth is a problem. I am also missing a female Fisher born! about the same time (either 1824 or 1825) daughter of Peter Fisher of Green Co., Ky. and Mary Livicy Greenstreet. They had a son and daughter before Mary died, probably in childbirth, in 1824 or 1825. Just fishing, Thanks, kfr Thanks, kfr
