He is listed as 39 years old, carpenter. He's married to what looks like Calidra - age 27. Their children are John, age 8, Hattie, age 7, and Susan, age 4. LDS lists his second marriage (to Susannah) as being on 5 November 1863. I couldn't find him in the 1880 census. I tried to look into the 1870 census (which would give birthplaces for his father and his mother), but the site I use was down. Let me know if this helps, or if I can help any further. Best regards, India Penney

All I have is my grandfather Hugh Ralph Fisher born 1906, son of William Jesse Fisher and Katherine Adair. (She was from Feversahm Ont. Canada) William had 1 brother who visited him from Canada by the name of Edward. I am unable to find any other information. It is said that there was another brother who remained in England and was with the Royal Navy and then transfered to Spain, where he married and raised his family.

good morning ya all well ty to all who hav e helped me, If anyone should hav e this problem, iti s so very minute, I was told to disable my norton virus protection program, and it would work and sure enough it worked. whew,,, I sure was sweting the problm thank you again debbie
Debbie, you probably have a bad floppy or data on it. I would recopy the data and then try to reinstall. Also try to get all of one item on a single floppy, using multiple floppies is always risky, I don't care what the pros say. Check the usable space before adding each additional item to the floppy. Also when transfering files from one FTM program in one computer to another, even when they are the same version, it is best to first export to GEDCOM, copy to disc, then insert the disc in the second computer, paste to the My Documents folder and then import the GEDCOM into FTM. I just did a format on my computer. Prior to doing it I first copied everything to disc, making sure that if it asked for a second disc that I aborted, inserted a fresh disc and recopied that file so that it had all of one file on one disc. I also checked each disc to make sure I could open each file on the disc from the disc, doing so gives you proof that you have a good copy. Only then did I format. Then I reinstalled my programs. Defragmented the hard drive. Only then did I copy the files from the discs back to My Documents folder. And defragmented my hard drive a second time. That gave me both a solid software installation and all my files back on a solidly functioning computer. I also took my time to avoid errors, four days. Rushing it would still have taken a day to a day and a half.
