    1. [FISHER] FISHER Family Photographs
    2. Shelley Cardiel
    3. I've "rescued" a group of old photographs including one of Dannel or Danuel FISHER. The first name is hard to read but it definitely isn't "Daniel". The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1860's or 1870's with the subject likely in his 40's at the time. There is no location noted on this photograph, however, another photograph appears to be a later photograph of the same man or someone from his family. The second photograph was taken at the G.A. Cohick Studio in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania, probably in the 1870's with the man appearing to be in his 50's or 60's at the time. A third photograph of an infant taken about the same time at the same studio in Jersey Shore was also recovered. Also recovered from the same source are photographs belonging to the DIPNER, PARTHEMORE, EARNEST, and SHEETZ families of Harrisburg, Hummelstown, and Mechanicsburg, PA. The handwritten names on many appear to have been made by the same hand leading me to believe they are all connected in some manner. I'm hoping to return the photographs to family. If you are a member of this family or know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Obituary Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/YVW.2ACEB/3954 Message Board Post: Albuquerque Journal - July 24, 1998 Judith A."Judy" Fisher, age 51, a resident of Albuquerque for 25 years, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 1998, after a brief illness. Judy was born February 18, 1947 in Oklahoma City, OK and was raised in Texas. She was a 1965 graduate of Bellaire High School in Houston, TX and was Captain of the Drum and Bugle Corp. Judy obtained her B.A. and M.A. degrees at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. While a graduate student, she did an internship in Gallup and fell in love with New Mexico. Judy recently retired from the New Mexico Disability Determination Services, where she spent the majority of her career as Assistant Administrator. Judy's interests and loves were many and varied. She collected Southwestern art, was an authority on the history of the War between the States, and passionate in her love for animals, especially her beloved kitties,"Sly" and"Squeak". Judy was devoted to, and supportive of her many wonderful friends in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and Red River. At the! time of her death, she was in the process of moving to Santa Fe, where she had planned to volunteer for the American Cancer Society, transporting patients to and from medical appointments. This desire was inspired after watching her mother's courageous seven year battle with breast cancer. Though miles separated Judy from her brothers and sisters, they were always in her heart, and she in theirs. Their time together was precious to Judy. Her death has created an incredible void in the lives of the family and friends who loved her so dearly. Judy was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Ray Fisher in October 1981, and Paula Fisher in September 1996. She is survived by two brothers, Earl Fisher and wife, Judy and David Fisher and wife, Tricia, all of Houston, TX; one sister, Nancy Beal and husband, John of Stigler, OK; five nieces; two nephews; and many special friends. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Saturday, 11:00 a.m., at French Mortuary,! 1111 University Blvd. NE.
