    3. This could very well connect with my Berry-Fisher lines, as Barbara Berry, who married Solomon Huit Dec 16, 1829, relocated to Knox County, IN -- Vincennes, Indiana -- in spring 1830. Her parents were John and Catherine Fisher-Berry of NC, who had moved to Indiana in the 1820s. I often wondered why Barbara and Solomon didn't go to Brown County to her parents -- it's possible they went to Knox to be closer to other Fisher relatives. Do you find your Fishers arriving from NC in the 1820s - 1830s? I also find other Berry-Huit lines in the Vincennes area and just across the river in Illinois.... suze >From: marsha byrd <[email protected]> >Reply-To: [email protected] >To: [email protected], [email protected] >Subject: Re: [FISHER] Fisher - Scott - Boner - Bonner - Galey - 1821 Letter >Date: Sat, 24 Feb 2007 07:05:27 -0800 (PST) >MIME-Version: 1.0 >Received: from lists9.rootsweb.com ([66.43.27.45]) by >bay0-mc9-f10.bay0.hotmail.com with Microsoft SMTPSVC(6.0.3790.2444); Sat, >24 Feb 2007 07:33:10 -0800 >Received: from lists9.rootsweb.com (localhost.localdomain [127.0.0.1])by >lists9.rootsweb.com (8.13.8/8.13.8) with ESMTP id l1OFWgQ9005762for ><[email protected]>; Sat, 24 Feb 2007 08:33:09 -0700 >Received: from mail.rootsweb.com (mail.rootsweb.com [192.168.65.34])by >lists9.rootsweb.com (8.13.8/8.13.8) with ESMTP id l1OFWau0005583for ><[email protected]>; Sat, 24 Feb 2007 08:32:36 -0700 >Received: from web81801.mail.mud.yahoo.com >(web81801.mail.mud.yahoo.com[68.142.207.166])by mail.rootsweb.com >(8.13.8/8.13.8) with SMTP id l1OFWC6A029703for <[email protected]>; Sat, >24 Feb 2007 08:32:32 -0700 >Received: (qmail 82368 invoked by uid 60001); 24 Feb 2007 15:05:28 -0000 >Received: from [70.245.234.164] by web81801.mail.mud.yahoo.com via >HTTP;Sat, 24 Feb 2007 07:05:27 PST >X-Message-Info: LsUYwwHHNt0czA0taldhPKjBFSPi10pKzMNB0+nwKgU= >X-YMail-OSG: >U6hQ7XgVM1ksVXwo5RdO2NX0fie1I65lvJ1IFnm4_Jn_9sM.q0NcH0nmPRgZpSOnkiJrW79NqCySB34gDWbM5_Yi9JLjac519Iw_ahCOLqb3_SCC_pLRx07J0rv5F4NKFfKd8n1T8P8- >X-Scanned-By: MIMEDefang 2.57 on 192.168.65.34 >X-Content-Filtered-By: Mailman/MimeDel 2.1.7 >X-BeenThere: [email protected] >X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.7 >Precedence: list >List-Id: <fisher.rootsweb.com> >X-Loop: [email protected] >X-Member: [email protected] >List-Unsubscribe: ><http://lists9.rootsweb.com/mailman/listinfo/fisher>,<mailto:[email protected]?subject=unsubscribe> >List-Archive: <http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index?list=fisher> >List-Post: <mailto:[email protected]> >List-Help: <mailto:[email protected]?subject=help> >List-Subscribe: ><http://lists9.rootsweb.com/mailman/listinfo/fisher>,<mailto:[email protected]?subject=subscribe> >Errors-To: littlefox7:[email protected] >Return-Path: [email protected] >X-OriginalArrivalTime: 24 Feb 2007 15:33:10.0518 (UTC) >FILETIME=[16F18960:01C75829] > > Do you have brothers for your Henry Fisher, did any of them move to >Missouri. I ran into a situation when in the military. I was stopped by a gentleman in Virginia, as he looked at my name tag, he told me Huffstodt was his middle name. I wish I would have gone further.
