Author: katanderson25 Surnames: FISHER, WASHBURN Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.fisher/3865.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Hi Amanda, Have you ever had any responses to your query? I too am looking for a Kenneth Fisher, although I am certain your Kenneth and 'my' Kenneth, are two different men. My son's uncle is Kenneth Fisher, from southern California. He would be about 56 yrs old now, (2007). Originally, 'my' Kenneth's last name was WASHBURN, but adopted by Lewis/Louis Fisher. If you have made any connections with a Kenneth that might match the above information, please send a reply. My son would love to know a bit more about his deceased father. Thanks very much. 3. Hi, I can't remember the county my Catherine Fisher was from. It might have been Catabwa -- or it might have been that the Berry lines were there. I have a heavy NC ancestry, including Jacksons of Rowan County, Berry, Whitaker, Canaday, Wright and so many others. I think they spanned the entire states of NC, Va and SC. None arrived here in Indiana until 1820s -- with migration continuing until 1830s. Interesting that they came from all over the place, arrived in different areas of Indiana -- yet all managed to meet and marry each other. Always blows me away! suze _________________________________________________________________ i'm making a difference. Make every IM count for the cause of your choice.
