John was born in Indiana. I don't get a lot of information on my family, most are gone already. I don't know anything about his siblings. There I found the grave of Richard Inman, died 25 Jul 1831 at age 80 yrs, and his wife Hannah, died 25 Feb 1835 at age 71 yrs, 8 mos. They are interred with Mary Mensch. The Inmans are to the right of Mary and to her left are Ruluff and Mary Fisher, her grandparents. Can anyone shed any light on the connection of the Inman and Fisher families? Said to have been in the War of the Rebellion,and enlisted in 1864, in the First Regiment Maryland Volunteers, Company F,Potomac Brigade. Catherine, was born in 1806 or 1807. She married a George Grosh, before 1833. In Pa or MD, havent found the marriage info yet. They had 3 children, the eldest was Ann Elizabeth-b. 1833, Henry IF Grosh, b. 1836 in Clearspring Dist MD, and Otis Snyder Grosh, b. 1844 in Clearspring Dist. I am trying to find out who Catherines parents are, and a confirmation of her marriage to George W Grosh. According to their great grand children, Henry IF, was named after both his grandfathers. Now his full name, as I understand it, is Henry Irving Fisher Grosh. And Georges father was Henry Grosh, so I assume that Catherines father would be Irving Fisher, but I havent been able to confirm this. Can anyone one out there help me?
