    1. [FISHER] CLYDE TED FISHER
    2. You almost have my full name, which is HAROLD CLYDE FISHER. Probably no kin. My FISHERS came from England about 1850 and settled in Palmyra, NY. From there they moved over to Oceana County, MICH in about 1880, and from there to Yazoo County, Mississippi where we are still located, as there are no new places to move to. Good luck Harold Clyde Fisher, age 82, still perking on family history, but nothing but the pilot light still works. ************************************** Get a sneak peek of the all-new AOL at http://discover.aol.com/memed/aolcom30tour

She had married in 1896 to David Osborn. Albert would have been my Great Grandfather and yes he did have a sister called Euphemia Fisher as their mother's name was Euphemia Croad before marrying Albert William Fisher in Portsmouth, before moving on to Aldershot and having my Grandmother, yes please I would like to see what you have, as you said there were a lot of Fisher's in Aldershot, whether they are 2 different families or not remains to be seen. As a lot of Fisher's went to Aldershot from Portsmouth because of the Army link and they all seem to name their children the same. I must say I don't recognise George and Mabel Fisher. Are these your side of Fisher's?. My email address is [email protected] I would be very interested in what you have. I do have a lot of info but perhaps you have a missing link for me. I have not done an awful lot of research over the past year as I am waiting for th! e next Census. Author: KerryInOz Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.fisher/4169.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Rose, I've only just read your message; I have Fisher ancestors from Aldershot, George Fisher married Mabel Butler, in the census of 1901 Mabel Butler was living in Drury Lane Aldershot, as were a lot of "Fishers"., including Henry & Maria Fisher (Henry being the brother of your Euphemia Fisher....,) in the course of my research, I have had to follow some lines of Fishers, not necessarily connected to mine, but as a means of "eliminating" the line from my tree., I have some of your Fishers in my research notes..... Euphemia's father Albert born c1842 married Ellen. Albert also had a sister named Euphemia., is this making any sense to you? if you think I can help, just ask. Kerry Jones, Australia. Author: faskin_1 Surnames: Fisher England Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.fisher/7490/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I was in an Antiques shop in Tetbury, Gloucestershire (Long Street Antiques) and saw a sampler relating to a Fisher family. It's nothing to do with any line in my research but it was an attractive item, which if it had anything to do with my family I would buy it in a flash. So I thought I would see if anyone is related to this family. Sampler gives details as follows: John and Mary Fisher married 19 Feb 1775 Then lists their children Mary & Elizabeth born 18 Feb 1776 Mary & Susanna born 18 May 1777 John Michael born 16 Mar 1779 John Michael born 26 Apr 1780 Elizabeth born 18 Aug 1785 Sarah & Ann born 2 Sep 1782 Stephen & John born 24 Aug 1783 Charlotte born 5 Sep 1784 John Samuel born 25 Sep 1785 Benjamin born 2 Sep 1787 John Nicholas born ? Sep 1788 Barbary and twin born 4 Dec 1789 Charles & Christopher born 31 Oct 1796 Below it says done by Sophia Fisher De Jersey 9 Feb 1819 aged 12. (from checking Familysearch John and Mary (England) were married at St Andrew by the Wardrobe, London and most of the children were christened at St Savior, Southwark and St Mary, Whitechapel, Stepney.) Hope that someone has the family in their line. Ewan Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
