I found Abigail living with her daughter Barbra Large in Moniteau county in MO. Son Joseph was also there. Appears that Abigail may have died in 1918 in Moniteau County. (Death certificate has her listed as Abbagale Fisher.) Barbra's husband James died in 1911 in Pilot Grove, Moniteau Co., MO. Son Joseph appears to have died in the 1970's in Moniteau County. Harry is believed to have been born in Rose Hill Binfield Berkshire c1885. His father John Fisher is known to have been a carter. His mother's name may be Mary and it looks as though he had at least two brothers: John E and William E. Per the 1901 census, John was born in Weston Berkshire. Harry left the area in c1906 and moved to the London area. He joined the Metropolitan Police force in 1906 and left the force in 1908. Harry married Harriet Sturdgess of Blisworth Northants in 1908 while in London. They had two children Polly M.A.M. and William Charles Ernest. Harry died while serving with the Royal Field Artillery in Italy in 1918. If anyone knows of this family please contact me at [email protected] Thanks. My Schilling was Nicholas, brother of Caspar. They both came to Dakota County, MN, in the mid 1800's from Germany. Both were stone masons. Caspar and family remained in MN, but Nicholas moved about to Iowa; Calhoun County, IL; and St. Louis where my great grandfather, Joseph Nicholas Schilling, ended up. They also had family in Venice, St. Clair Co, IL. Do you see any possible connections? It was interesting to find Schillings among my Fisher searches! My Fishers are English rather than German.
