I did visit the family center in Schaumburg recently. They do have a large film library and access to others. Their computers are very slow and one person suggested the local library has access to some census records. I visited the local library and found they do have access to the records on Ancestry.com. I found information on other family ancestors but am having a difficult time finding my Fischer line. I did not find anything in the 1920 or 1930 census. I know my grandparents married in early 1920's in Chicago (Cook County) as I have a record from the church. I can follow my grandmother's line to when they arrived in 1876 and found them in earlier census records as well as birth/death records. It is like they just weren't part of the census. Thanks again.
