Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/YaW.2ACIB/869.1.1 Message Board Post: My best guess based on circumstantial evidence is that 'my' John Fischer was a son of Michael Fischer and Magdalena Hoffmann born in Berks County, Oley Township region, in 1795. Michael and Magdalena were married in 1792, and their first son, Samuel, was born in 1793. I have no record for a Solomon in my Fischer file, but that's not to say there wasn't one. It appears they later (by 1804) moved up into what is now Schuylkill County. Is this the same family you're researching?
