Hello, My Gr-Gr-Grandfather was LUDWIG FISCHER, his wife was GUSTA BERG. They are the parents of my Gr-Grandmother, GUSTINA WILHELMINA FISCHER- BALFANZ, she was born June 21, 1862 in GERMANY, I don't know the Kreis or the village. Sooooooo...........LUDWIG was maybe born about twenty years or more before GUSTINA. I know she had many siblings although I don't know the line, yet. GUSTINA settled in Stillwater, MN. where she married HERMAN BALFANZ and had twelve children, all have passed. HERMAN was from Pomerania, Flakenheide, Prussia. I'm interested to hear if you know of this FISCHER. Were there many FISCHER's in Mannheim, Germany? Waiting and hoping for a relationship, somewhere. Best Regards, Judy in MN
