In fact I'm still trying to get more info myself. My grandfather was Anthony Leeland Fischer from Buffalo/East Aurora, NY. His father and mother were Michael/Henrietta Fischer from East Aurora, NY later Williamsville, NY. His father was Michael and his wife was Madeleine Schneider from Alsace-Lorrain, France. I saw the Schneider name and almost screamed with excitement as this has been my wall. Please let me know if you know any of these names. My family has been going back and forth to Canada for years. My mom has many stories of going to Crystal Beach as a kid...but not sure about canadian relatives...I'll check with her today. I'm filled with hope...thank you.

Julie, Where is your Fischer family from in Europe? My Fischer line is from Obersteinbach, Alsace... I know my 6th great grand father had 7 children, but I don't know anything about any of them other than my direct line... Please get back to me...
