There will be alot of Fischers to srt through as many used that spelling at that time, changing later. It seems as though your ancestors were likely ethnic Germans living in Romania. My Fischers were German Bohemian living in what today is the Czech Republic. Lucky for me that they left before the pogroms of the 1940's as they left me a sufficient paper trail to follow.
