His name was Frederick, he was born circa 1829 in Wuertemberg, Germany. By some route he came to Buffalo area: I have found the on the IGI a record of his marriage to Mary Louise Schneider on Jan. 11, 1848 in Eden, Erie County, New York. Sometime after their marriage they came to Niagara Falls, Ontario to settle, where I have located them on the 1871 census. There seems to be a definite Buffalo connection-I have stories of travel of my grandfather's generation back and forth to Buffalo-in fact my grandfather died in the hospital there. I thought that there might be a connection.

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/YaW.2ACIB/951.1.1 Message Board Post: No, I do not believe so. I just started on this side of the family, and I know that William B.'s wife was named Annie Fischer, and it appears she is from Tennessee. However, they did travel TN, AR,WI and MO as best I can tell. William's brother was Adolph that eventually settled in Chicago (Haymarket Tragedy). Unfortunately, I am unable to trace whether other siblings came with or followed them from Bremen. I've been told they had a large family but with limited information on William, it is very difficult. Their father was born in Braunswick, Germany and their mother was born in Hanover, Germany according to the 1880 Census. I feel certain there is a Charles in their family, but at this point, I am unable to trace it. If you have any info or ideas, that would be greatly appreciated. Kim
