Six Children, three died at sea. August Fischer - lived in Chain of Rocks, MO. Son William. August died Feb 1925. Mary Fischer Wiegand, lived in Minneapolis, MN. Born 1857 deid Sept 1919. Marriedto Arnold who died in 1921. Son Ted. Joseph Fischer, born 10/14/1864 in Racine WI, lived in Sleepy Eye most of his adult life. This would bemy great grandfather. Died Feb 14, 1936. Married Katerine Liesenfeld. I'm looking for any information you have on this line. I'm having trouble finding anything, but I do havesome census info and I few toher things. They also had a daughter Mary and a son Jospeh. Came to this country about 1860-1863 or so. Went to Racine, Wisconsin but could have been someplace else in WI before that. I know its a long shot but maybe. Where did your August end up moving, mine went to Missouri, or so I've been told.

They moved to Nebraska and had the following children: Anna Adalia, Rose Maria, William Anton, Martha Helena, Henry, Carl, Benjamin, Elsie, Frank and Mabel. Carl died on Nov. 4, 1903 near Rushville, Nebraska in a horse and wagon accident. I do not have any other info on the father John, or brothers Charles or James, or the sisters. I have my own Fischer brick wall as well! I have an Andrew Fischer who married Margaritte Mann, both from Germany. They had 9 children: Elizabeth John Silas David Marie Andrew Eliza Catherine Henrietta (my ancestor) Henrietta married Louis Bechtold, also German.
