I read your previous post that you suggested but didn't see anything familiar. My G-Grandmother, Stella, b. in Muscatine County, IA was born a Fisher and married T. E. Haurigan. Her father was James Marvin Fisher, b. in Towanda, Bradford County, PA. His father is the Frederick Fis(c)her I'm trying to learn more about. Other than what I learned in the PA 1850 census which stated he was born in CT, I can't find anything more. One of these days hopefully....

Although, my grandfather's brother had a daughter and named her Stella Marie Fischer. I'm not sure if this is the same Stella Fischer that you referred to or not. My great great grandfather's name was Frederick Fischer, but he married Susan P. Rohr (to my knowledge). I believe that Stella Marie Fischer was a great granddaughter to Frederick Fischer. If the information in that post matches any of the information you have, please post again as I would love to find someone else on my tree!
