I know that Henriette was born in Boeck Germany in 1852 and I have her ancestory. I am interested in the fact that she married a man by the name of Carl Kwiatkowski and through this marraige had my GGrandmother, Maria Busacker (nee Kwiatkowski). I have no information on Carl at all and it appears that he was either Polish or German Jewish. I know that Maria was born in Hamburg and might be able to solve this mystery if I knew if Henriette and Carl married in Boeck or Hamburg. Does anyone have any information on Fischers from the Boeck region who moved to Hamburg or married into Polish Jewish families? There are too many Fischers to sort out which ones from Hamburg came from Boeck so I am trying the other way around. Hope someone out there can help
Hello, This is my first message since subscribing. I recently returned from Romania, where I researched and verified the births of a number of relatives, including my father and three of his siblings. They were German-speaking members of a Wiener family in the Banat, specifically Lugoj, where I visited for five days (and also went to the Timis County Archives in Timisoara). What I could not find was any record of an Irina (Irene) Wiener, who was born no earlier than 1889 and who later married, in Lugoj, a man named Fischer. She was the only one of the five siblings who never came to the United States, and I was hoping to find some link to her through children and grandchildren. I did not. I have a picture of her, supplied by cousins in Ohio, but I have no idea of her date of birth, date of marriage or any other statistic. Can any of you help me? Respectfully, Bob Wiener

I was researching another line and found that two of Rudolph's daughters married brothers that I was researching. I found another version of Gottlieb's letter, three census files, and Rudolph's land allotment. Plus, he was briefly described in a manuscript in Pioneer Papers. What would be invaluable is if you have a photograph. Thanks for responding.

I think it may be a great tool for the Fischer researchers. It is private, non-invasive and accurate. For this type, it involves the direct male line or those male descendants named Fischer. Right now our Fischers are all over the map. This can organize them into distinct family groups. As an example, check out the Hill family site at www.hilldna.com
