Gloria Subject: Quickel Luth Cem., York Co, PA : The following was received in my mail today from a cousin in York Co., PA. : It is a LEGAL NOTICE from the newspaper (undated when it came to me) -- : : "NOTICE TO DESCENDANTS, HEIRS AND NEXT OF KIN OF PERSONS BURIED IN A CEMETERY : AT QUICKEL EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 60 CANAL ROAD EXTENDED, CONEWAGO : TOWNSHIP, YORK COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA. : Quickel Evangelical Luthran Church has petitioned the Court of Common Pleas : of York County, PA, Orphans' Court Division, for authorization to remove : grave markers from the Church cemetery and to disinter and re-inter any : remains discovered in the cemetery located at Quickel Evangelical Lutheran : Church, 60 Canal Road Extended, Conewago Twp, York Co., PA., for the purpose : of permitting an expansion of its Sunday School Bldg., and entends to erect : and maintain a suitable memorial or monument near the site of the cemetery, : listing the available names and dates of persons buried therein.
