I see we have got seven new subscribers in the last month. Everyone should post their line so the new people can see what you have. Also the new people should post too. Here's what I have. It's a bit disjointed and it all hinges on family lore, news articles, obits and historical writings. It's my step-children's family and I am trying to see what I can find for them. 1st Generation: My stepchildren Albert Fink (Living) Laili Fink (Living) Glory Fink (Living) | | 2nd Generation Albert Fink (Living) m Lynda Carol Phillips Rudolph Fink m Susan | | 3rd Generation Rudolph Fink B 1/24/1905 Nome AK d. 8/21/1980, Biloxi MS m. Heinrich Fink (returned to Germany) (according to family lore there were 8 other brothers) This one has to be in the line somewhere, but the Fink family will not claim him. Why are informers or strike-breakers called finks? Fink was an eponym for one Albert Fink, who as a supervisor of detectives for several different railroads, oversaw a team of operatives who were paid to go undercover and spy and inform on railway workers. These operatives were dubbed finks.
