Maybe some of them could answer your question about the marriage. https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/MagilbryFindley/info My Wier cousin Lisa R. Franklin is a great-great-granddaughter of Magilbry Findley and excellent researcher. If anyone knows the answer, she might. Her email is trackingyourroots@gmail.com I see a lot of conflicting information on the internet about your William Findley's family, some saying he married in Georgia and others in Conecuh County. Some also give differing places of birth for Magilbry Findley. Some say he was from Laurens Co., S.C., and others say Union Co., S.C. I am descended from Moses Fendley/Findley (1761/68-1841) of Edgefield Co./Greenville Co., S.C., through his son William Findley who moved to Alabama. I don't know if they're connected to yours or not. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
