WHO ARE YOU? I am Jack Norton Terrell of the lost nation of Tyrrell WHAT IS YOUR CLAN? Hey what's this clan stuff? We are bigger than a clan. We're the lost nation of which we in America are the last descendants of the the lost nation of Roman Catholic Tyrrells of Ireland. WHEN DID YOU LEAVE IRELAND? I haven't a clue. It had to be before the Great Famine because only rumors and folklore exists in Ireland about us. WHERE ARE YOU FROM? As far as I can make out we came from Westmeath, Meath, and Dublin, but no one admits we ever existed. A fairy curse of the becoming tongue tied will fall on any in Ireland who speak of our exploits. The Tyrrells were originally Norman who came over from England with Delacy. But soon all fell under the magic spells off lovely Irish colleens and all Tyrrells soon became more Irish than Irish. WHY DID YOU LEAVE? I did not leave. My ancestors did and being Roman Catholic landed personages did not set well with the QEI and the Roundheads they must have left early on; at least after the Battle of Tyrrell Pass and when Capt Richard Tyrrell fled back to Spain.. HOW DID YOU LEAVE? Well I would think in them days it would be by boat. HOW MANY? I would guess all the Tyrrells left because there ain't nary a soul left in Ireland. WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS? To say you can search the world over for family and relatives but if you have not a close family around you now, all the searching in the world doesn't mean a thing.
