Hi, here is two of the people I am researching: Answer the questions! WHO?are you searching : Thomas KELLY or KELLEY & Catherine NOLAN WHAT? all do you know about them: He arrived in the US approx 1852 (not verified) -Her I have no idea when she arrived. In searching the Archives in Boston I found only one reference to a marriage between a Thomas Kelly and Catherine Nolan, July 14, 1856. They resided in Lincoln, Massachusetts before their marriage. He as a laborer, her as a domestic, in different houses. The Newton Directories I found at the library said they moved to Newton Massachusetts in 1856 where they purchased some land. In checking further in the old Newton Directories we lose Thomas in 1871, we assume to death as after that Catherine is listed as owner. I cannot find a death certificate for Thomas KELLY. There is a reference to one in Newton but not all the info is correct. For one they say this Thomas KELLY is single. Could be a typo, I don't know. If this is his info, then his parents are listed as John KELLY/Bridget ????? - Ireland I have Catherines. She died in 1900 in Newton, MA. Her parents are listed as Andrew or Thomas NOLAN/Sarah FARRELL WHERE? do they come from:: Thomas KELLY all I have is Tipperary, Ireland Catherine NOLAN all I have is Roscommon, Ireland WHEN?were they there: Thomas KELLY was born approx 1828-1832 Catherine NOLAN born approx 1833 I have information on their children. Not a lot mind you. I was working on the direct line but did copy down some of the other information. This trip to Boston was my first in 2 yrs and i had just become interensted in genealogy 6 months ago. So I was kind of stumbling around not really knowing what productive steps to take. I did get a lot that surprised. Thanks for letting us post and perhaps someone out there knows someting about these people.
