I am not familiar with Irish research any suggestions? I am not sure where in Ireland some of folks come from. Is this a common problem? Take my father's great-grandfather Thomas Brown, I only know he was born in 1820. Where would I write to for Parish Records? Some of my relatives said he came from Cork. If this were true who would I write to?
