Hi, My ggrandparents were Catherine CLIFFORD and William LARKIN. They came from Ireland in 1859-69. They came over separately but knew each other in Ireland. They met again in Brooklyn where they married and had Mary Frances (1861, my grandmother, Katherine, James John also (Elizabeth, Anne, William, Eugene who died at young ages.) My gparents were Mary Frances LARKIN and Michael Joseph OROURKE married in Brooklyn 1887. She had worked for a furrier and he was a crane operator on the Brooklyn Bridge. They had Katherine (CAMPBELL), Mary Veronica, (Mamie BULGER) Marguerite (FRANK), Michael Josseph, Eugene and my mother, Florence Patricia (HANSEN, MACQUARRIE)..Also other children who died young. All lived in Brooklyn until 1970. I don't know anything about Michael OROURKE'S family although he had siblings he raised after his father's death, but don't know their names. We are also related to the BAKERS AND BUTLERS. I think that Catherine Clifford was a BUTLER as they are buried with our family in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn.
