And for anyone else who may be looking for related topics I will give the information to all. Patrick Henry Kirby (Kerby in the Irish records) was born Feb.1, 1872 in Louisbourgh N1, Mayo, Ireland. His father is listed as John Kerby. His mother is listed as Honor Fergus. On Patrick's death certificate in Massachusetts they were listed as John Kirby and Honora Ferguson. The FHL Number is 255846; note number is 734. Now one more question. What does N1 after Louisbourgh stand for? and what is FHL? I wish I could even express how I feel. It's as if I had just stepped on the ground there in Ireland for the first time.
