Hi! I see you are looking for Murphy in upper Canada. I helped a friend of mine to look up Murphy in New Foundland. However she has since died of Lew Gerigs disease. I didn't get very far because she took a turn for the worse before I finished. But what I did learn was John Francis Murphy b. about 1889 married Bridget Ellen Costello 9 Feb. 1918. She thought that he migrated from Ireland during the potatoe famine but had idea from what part of Ireland. You probably have no link but thought it might be a stab in the dark. However I'm looking for Glosheens (changed their names to Green) who left CO. Roscommon around the 1850's. Have no idea where to look for them.
