    3. I have an interest and data in the following families...(so far) FENAUGHTY: William Fenaughty b.1812 Killmallock, Co Limerick emmigrated to Australia d. 11 Aug 1875 Mooroopna, Australia. (Not convinced that the family lived in Limerick as there are very few in the church records, we think it may have been a way point before emigration). John, Thomas Bonaventure, Cornelius, Michael and Daniel Fenaughty (all brothers) emigrated to USA in 1860's from Co. Kerry. SHANNON: Thomas Shannon, No county known, probably Roscommon. Daughter Mary arrived in New Zealand aboard the "Northampton" as an assisted immigrant. It sailed for Wellington on 16 Dec 1876 and arrived on 2 Apr 1877. Mary was listed as being 50 years old, and from Roscommon (National Archives). McGAHEY James McGahey of Clones, Co Monoghan, emigrated to NZ. In the Griffith Valuation of 1860 James was recorded as renting a house, office and land amounting to 16 acres, 1 rood and 35 perches at Coolnacarte, Co. Monaghan, leased from Richard Henry. According to Kevin McGahey, he left Ireland 1863 or 1864. There is a death of a James McGahey at Fremantle, W.A. on 10 May 1895, aged 75, believed to be en route to Ireland. MORRIS: Catherine Theresa Morris, b. 10 Dec 1853 Co Roscommon emigrated to NZ d. 8 Sep 1927 Patea, New Zealand. Arrived in New Zealand aboard the "Eastminster" as an assisted immigrant. It sailed for Wellington on 25 Oct 1879 and arrived on 4 Jan 1880. Bridget was listed as being 33 years old, from Roscommon (National Archives). Death notice states she left nine orphans.
