Trying to find more infor on my g. father; THOMAS CONROY, born to Thomas CONROY & Mary COSTELLO in Ireland probably co. Mayo in Mar. 1865. Possible brother or cousins Michael Joseph CONROY, They worked the Brooklyn docks. Michael was a sponsor for my aunt in 1897 in St Charles Boremmeo Church on Sidney st, they lived on State st at that time. Other relatives ,FLAHERTY, John, James, Thomas d 1918 wife Sadie d 1940,children Raymond, Thomas & Eleanor McMullen.,Patrick d. 1942, wife Annie,children ??, his brother buried him in Holy Cross with the rest of the Flahertys, mother & father. Mary Flaherty Conroy 1929,her husband is among the missing was my.my g,father . Michael ??? Margaret??? Ellen??? Honora ??? and the mystery when Andrew died, last seen in 1950-52,he lived at 207 Moffat st wife Margaret, daughter Eleanor, Andrew used the name Faherty,which is one of the ways they say it in Ireland.When did he died where is he buried, not in HC with the family. Then we have the COLLINS, John, wife Helen, children Elizabeth & Caroline, Elizabeth had been a nun for awhile left to marry. Caroline married Raymond Conneely & lived in South Jersey. Then we have a mystery women named Helen Conroy, believe she was my missing uncle Thomas's daughter,and lived in Jersey.Maybe Jersey City. Many of the Flahertys and the Conroys worked the Bklyn docks or ship yard in Bklyn. Names connected to this family are Conroy,(me) ,Williams,Rooney, Wagner, & Gray. that are still living.These are all my 2nd cousins. Anyone that can give info on this family please do so. Thanks Ed
