Hello Irish Researchers, My GGrandparents conducted a Grocery Store on the Corner of Liverpool Street and Kingsland Park Avenue, DUBLIN - in 1870. Liverpool Street was later renamed (in the mid- 1870's) as Portobello Road. The address today is 1 Portobello Road, South Dublin which is now the location of a Restaurant known as "THORNTONS". I visited this "ancestral site" in 1995! I would appreciate it if someone could tell me the name/address of the nearest Catholic Church and the Convent School in this area of Dublin. Also, are there any school records archived at this time and by whom? I realise that this may be a "tall order".
