As far as I can see the response to the "Do you know this person" posting has been a bit out of control. Why is everyone so hostile? If you cannot post a warning on the list without bringing out the worst in way too many people, why have a list at all? I realize that we of Irish descent do tend to be excitable, but from what I have seen this time, it has been a bit much even for us. If you see a subject that you don't want to read it is very easy to just delete it, for goodness sake. Let's try not to start another Irish Civil War just as they are finally getting the country back together (sort of).
